The QS World University Rankings by Region for Latin America, Asia, Emerging Europe & Central Asia (EECA) and the Arab region have all been released.
While the QS World University Rankings, published in June this year, provide a fantastic overview of how universities are performing, the regional rankings allow us to focus in greater detail on some of the fastest-growing higher education sectors.
Each of these regional rankings is compiled using a unique methodology that reflects the demands of that part of the world, and providing a better picture of how universities compare with other institutions in the same part of the world.
Three of the four rankings feature a new university at number one with the Nanyang Technological University (Asia), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Latin America) and American University of Beirut (Arab region) all leading the way in their regions. Only Lomonosov Moscow State University remains number one since last year, topping the EECA ranking for a third consecutive year.
This year’s rankings feature more universities than ever before and can be viewed in full from this page. Downloadable supplements are also available, which explore this year’s results in greater detail.
