Tech immersion throughout the curriculum

At IE Tower, students can expect an innovative learning environment that seamlessly integrates technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence into the curriculum to help spark new ideas, strengthen creativity, and encourage collaboration.

In addition, Teresa Martín-Retortillo explains that the classrooms are equipped with technology that supports online classes at the same time, as part of the university's blended learning model.

State-of-the-art facilities and resources

IE Tower is a hub that fosters interaction, innovation, and creativity across its community of 6,000 students. It has 64 classrooms, some with 360-degree seating that can expand to twice their normal size, 30 distinctive learning spaces, an entrepreneurship lab that accelerates startup creation, a FabLab for architecture and design projects, and a 600-seat auditorium.

Student projects with local companies

A university's location can have a real impact on student learning when it creates opportunities to work with nearby companies and organizations.

Ideally located in the Cinco Torres complex, IE Tower reflects the university's commitment to urban and social transformation, revitalizing Madrid's entrepreneurial ecosystem and developing new collaborative student projects with international companies through its Entrepreneurship Lab.

Building a sustainability mindset

As one of the few high-rise university buildings in the world, IE Tower was designed with sustainability in mind. But the university's commitment to sustainability goes beyond the tower's sustainable structure and design.

Businesses, organizations, and governments need people who can think independently, adapt quickly to change, and come up with innovative, inspiring ideas to address corporate and social challenges effectively.

That is where IE University stands out, because it aims to promote social impact initiatives and train students during their studies to understand their potential to drive change and make a positive impact on their communities.

Encouraging sports, leisure, and arts and culture

It is important to know how to strike a healthy balance between studying and social life. That is why IE's Center for Health, Well-Being and Happiness encourages students to make full use of IE Tower's 7,000 square meters of green space, state-of-the-art sports facilities, and other leisure areas.

Joining team sports, meditating, attending concerts, or visiting the tower's art exhibition area offers a chance to step away from the demands of classes and assignments and enhance the overall university experience.
