Recognition from Web of Science (WoS), the world’s most trusted database for the “India Research Excellence – Citation Awards 2019” under the Deemed or Private University category. VIT is the first Indian institution to receive QS four star in overall category and five stars in teaching, employability, facilities, innovation and inclusiveness.

Three VIT subjects are within the top 550 QS World University Rankings by Subject: CS & IT; Electrical & Electronics; Chemistry. VIT has national accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Govt. of India with A grade. Programs at VIT are taught in English, but VIT also has the Chinese Language Centre.
